For too long the comedy scene has been dominated by straight white men talking about their genitals and mother in laws…well, now is the time for the real kings to rise up and let’s face it, probably make our own dick jokes!
Get ready for a rollicking good time featuring a cast of comically charged performers in our next King & Caboodle Cabaret - Glasgow's bimonthly show featuring drag kings and their favourite playthings - happening on Saturday, November 25th.
This special ‘Kings of Comedy’ edition will be hosted by none other than two of Scotland's funniest drag kings - Glasgow ‘Eastender genderbender’, Wee Jambo and Edinburgh lad and ‘Leith Lifer’, Phil Herrin, but don't worry, the only riot they promise is one fuelled by laughter.
Starring the hilarious King Hoberon, Weirde Beardie George, Himish Macbeth, Cliff Lickhard plus special guests Innocence Bliss and Ferris - expect a king-sized dollop of stand-up, original song and poetry, ludicrous lip syncing and bonkers burlesque!

More about Wee Jambo
Drag king Wee Jambo is the fever dream creation of comedian and burlesque performer Freya Benteaux (yes, like the pie). Wee Jambo bares his soul through his comically terrible poetry, stand up routines and interpretative dance set to banging techno choons. He is proof that drag kings don't always have to be glamorous, and he is an advocate for working class performers getting their stage time, one sh*tty rap verse at a time. He has performed at drag nights, cabarets and stand up comedy clubs around Scotland, but his home and heart will always be in Glasgow.
More about Phill Herrin
Phil Herrin is Edinburgh’s longest running drag king, the OG from Leith! He’s been gein it yaldi on Scotland's stages, performing and writing his own material for 9 years. The product of lad culture, subculture and spending too much time with his best pal Begbie - Phil is the original cheeky chappy and 'yer all round top banana'. He's well known for his slick raps, dad dancing and comedy songs, including favourites such as 'Choose Leith', 'We didn’t vote for Boris' and 'The 12 days of Philmas'.
