A day to explore touch, connection and self-care.

Loneliness, the desire for touch and intimacy, wanting to have shame free sober sensuality - this can be an issue as we look for connection with other men. Too often we find the apps give us the appearance of easy connection, but then may spend hours looking for a man to meet with and then feel the evening has been wasted or meet and find that there is no real experience of connection or being met.

Learning how to fully enjoy connecting to ourselves, our bodies and our senses is the first part of opening to a deeper intimacy with ourself. From this place of deep connection to ourself we can then meet another. This workshop explores how we can find this connection - with ourself, and then with another.

The day will invite you to feel into what you need and want, and to work with partners during the day where you can find how to come into connection with each other in ways that feel nourishing and caring - receiving touch, holding or massage according to what you need and the other is happy to offer.

ABOUT THE ORGANISER:

I came to London in 2004 after 12 years of celibacy, 6 years of which were lived as a Buddhist monk. On arriving in London I started to explore how to make friends with my body and open to a deeper enjoyment away from the shame that had made me cut off from it. This workshop brings together the things I've learnt over those 14 years.
