Kate Muir is a women’s health expert, investigative journalist and documentary maker in the UK. Her book on contraception, Everything You Need to Know About the Pill (but were too afraid to ask) is published in April 2024, and she produced the recent Davina McCall: Pill Revolution documentary. Kate also created two ground-breaking Channel 4 films on the menopause, which ignited a massive conversation among women. Her book Everything You Need to Know About the Menopause (but were too afraid to ask) is now out in paperback. She is a campaigning speaker, and a founder member of The Menopause Charity.

Simphiwe Sesane is a Contraception and Sexual Health Nurse Consultant.
From 2012 to date, Simphiwe has worked as a Nurse in Sexual and Reproductive Health & HIV Services, with a passion for Women’s Health. She has been active in health education, training and clinical research.
She has a special interest in contraception, menopause, black maternal health and improving sexual and reproductive health access for marginalised and vulnerable groups.
Simphiwe prides herself with the ability to empower individuals with choice.
