If you have ever been to a show and thought “wow, that was so good”, it was because an even better show producer was behind it. Want to know how it’s done?
Then apply now to the Show Producer Bootcamp happening in Glasgow on Saturday March 2nd at Glad Cafe. Part of the Shut Up & King 'KINGcubator' program, this 1-day bootcamp for budding show producers is made possible with support from The National Lottery through Creative Scotland's Open Fund and is free of charge but spaces are strictly limited. See application info below.
WHAT TO EXPECT Veteran show producers Dorian T. With a focus on producing drag, cabaret and burlesque body and sex positive shows that prioritise the artistry of queer performers, performers of colour, performers with disabilities, performers over 40 and performers who are negatively affected by the Patriarchy, the day will also feature special guest speakers Dandy Issues, Roxy Stardust, Mx. Arrow Jackson, and Himish Macbeth.
