Our movement life drawing class will combine a life drawing class with long stretches of movement with an ex ballet dancer as our life model.
Suitable for all artistic abilities, especially artists who want to progress past stable life drawing poses.
This is a drop in session running over three hours, please buy a ticket in advance or a ticket on the door. Your ticket will allow you entry into all three hours of the class, please arrive early to reserve a seat.
ALL ART MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED
These are; an A3 Canvas board with sugar paper, graded pencils, erasers, coloured pencils, soft colour pastels, compressed charcoal sticks, felt tips, and oil pastels.
Please feel free to bring your own materials if you would prefer to.
ITINERARY
- Each hour will consist of a 45 minute life drawing class, starting off with short stable poses to get the proportions of the model and gradually shortening each pose into full movement poses.
- After each 45 minute life drawing class there will be a 15 minute break where we will have a short exhibition of everyone's drawings.
- Each life drawing class will commence on the hour for three hours, at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

Red Art Club was founded in April 2022 as a socialist art club.

We create a space for absolutely anyone to explore and develop their artistic practice. Our classes are priced below the threshold of any other art class in London while still giving access to professional instructors and the best art materials. We also exclusively host our classes in arts institutions to help contribute to building the art community around London.
London is a lonely place and being an artist can be even lonelier. Red Art Club was set up to create a community that empowers each other to create beautiful art and a more beautiful, friendly, inclusive, welcoming future for society.
On top of life drawing workshops we run monthly lino printing workshops and monthly sculpture classes at the Omnibus Theatre, Clapham Common as well as monthly pop up art gallery socials.
