If you are a community organiser, a book club leader, a party goer, or have ever felt at the mercy of the endless void of isolation and loneliness that can be London, this is the panel for you!

Love Tank

Will Nutland is the co-founder of The Love Tank - a non-profit that seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of underserved communities. With over three decades of activism, Will has a rich history of understanding how communities get built (and fall!).
Queerpack

I'm Sam, I'm 37, and I’m a founder and admin of Queerpack, a queer social group that’s been running on-and-off for five years. I’ve been part of the London queer scene for almost 20 years somehow, and I’ve experienced so many changes and understood first-hand how important it is to have a community around you, for support and joy and help. I work in a regular office job, and creating and fostering a community space like Queerpack outside of that has been such an important way for me to feel like I’m giving back and staying connected to community.
Queer Writer's circle

F. Zeeshan Choudhury is a writer and facilitator in East London. The COVID pandemic prompted them to leave a career in private education and put their teaching skills to better use. They now create affordable and accessible spaces for writers to develop their craft, and for all people to explore creativity in community. They currently run a number of workshops based in East London: The Queer Writer's Circle at Common Press in Shoreditch, Writing to Uncover The Self at St. Margaret's House in Bethnal Green and are starting up a new series, Writer's Edit Sessions at The Kobi Nazrul Centre off Brick Lane. They are currently working on their first novel, a queer coming-of-age story set in London E2. You can connect with them on instagram at @fzeeshanchoudhury.
Misery Party

Aisha Mirza (@uglyinahotway) is a queer Pakistani/Egyptian writer, dj, artist and community organizer living on a boat in East London.
They are the creator of misery (@miseryparty), a mental health collective, outdoor education programme, grief space & sober club night which centers healing for queer & trans Black people & people of colour. misery was awarded the 2022 Marsh Award for Peer Mental Health Support in the creativity category by MIND UK. Aisha is also a trained counsellor, specialising in sexual assault, domestic violence, suicidal ideation & overdose reversal.
