On Thursday 9th May join us for a night of laughter that will raise the roof and shake the foundations! With a stunning lineup of six comedians hand-picked by your hostess with the mostess, Emily Bampton, this POC- and queer-led night is not your same old stand-ups, these are the lineups you actually want to see.

Brought to you in association with Undercover Comedy, the queer comedy collective creating and curating giggles, centering your favourite girls, gays, femmes, and thems, and taking place at women-owned independent gin palace Mother’s Ruin.

The Lineup

Emily Bampton

Emily Bampton is a Chaotic Bisexual Oversharer, expect high energy stories and theories punctuated by physicality and facial expressions. She is described as "a hilariously relatable punch to the gut" by Daily Info, been featured on Next Up Comedy, soared through to the Semi-Final of Cocoa Butter Club's Trailblazer Competition 2022, is a Quantum Leopard Winner, was shortlisted for BBC New Comedian 2022, and was named by The Mainstream as a 2024 One to Watch.

Beck Walker

Queer disabled comedian who has been described as irreverent and had to google what that meant. “Really fucking funny” - Helen Bauer.

Aisha Amanduri

Aisha Amanduri is a South London based comedian from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. A Funny Women One-To-Watch (2023), and 2Northdown New Act Finalist (2022), she is described by Kemah Bob as "clever, edgy and unexpected" and in Chortle as "an appealing mix of upfront attitude with mischievous undercurrent". When she isn't explaining to people Kazakhstan isn't China, she is running her own pro-comedy night with Sascha LO called "Material Girls" and working on her split-bill with Hasan Al-Habib called "2 Muslim 2 Furious".

Leah Davis

Since kicking off her comedy career in 2022 Leah has reached the finals for the iconic Funny Women competition and BBC New Comedy Awards semi finals. She has smashed some of London’s most lethal gong shows including Beat The Blackout, Ding Dong Gong, and was named a ‘Face of Comedy’ for 2023.

Mustafa Yasin

Mustafa is a funny ass guy, I swear. Believe me. Please. He’s been performing since 2018, the same year he was a runner up at the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition. He then won the Quantum Leopard Champion of Champions award in 2019 and was nominated for the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year award in 2020. Post-pandemic he was named as a finalist for the Stand-Up Club new act competition, came runner up in King Gong and was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy awards in 2022.

Jamie Mykaela

Jamie Mykaela is Australia’s favourite cult-comedy cabaret ratbag, exiled to the UK for crowdsurfing over reviewers in government-run venues once too often and drinking every bar in regional Western Australia dry of Fireball. She is a co-founder of queer femme-led comedy production company Undercover Comedy, co-host/go-go tambourine girl of Dead Leg Comedy, Fringe World Best Comedy and Best Cabaret nominee, and Musical Comedy Awards semi-finalist 2024. “A beautiful singer and a filthy mouth… A tour-de-force!” - Fest Mag

Ruby Carr

Ruby Carr is a high energy, storytelling comedian, performer, writer, and director. WINNER of Funny Women Comedy Writing Award 2022, Funny Women One to Watch 2021 and Finalist for Amused Moose New Act of the Year 2019.
