Join Polly Maxwell to reimagine the role that queer family plays in caring for family members, especially in end-of-life settings. Polly will talk a bit about their research building on the need to queer ways of ‘doing family’ in the context of death and dying. As part of this creative workshop, Polly will invite participants to use building blocks and Lego to visualize alternative care networks beyond nuclear heteronormative models. How can these networks be better acknowledged, valued and built by us / for us?
