How do you choose to be a parent if you are an unpartnered ace or aro? What is it like?
Bryony (she/her) is a 27yr old Ace solo mum by choice to a 1 yr old. Growing up Bryony always knew she wanted to have kids, but realising at 20 she was on the Asexual spectrum knew it may not happen the “traditional” way. At 24 she decided to try to conceive using a sperm donor through a fertility clinic, and in February 2023 her son was born. Bryony is a content creator, and has documented her solo parenthood journey via her Youtube channel Precious Star Vlogs.
We will be talking to Bryony who is an Asexual solo Mum by choice about her experiences leading up to becoming a Mum, and what it means to be Ace and a parent.
There will be time for questions at the end of the chat.
