The Common Press is hosting a flow Queer Yoga session with Jeison Rosendo to help raise some funds for our crowdfunding campaign on 9th October from 7 pm - 9 pm. Please arrive no later than 5 mins before class.
Nothing created by nature is straight. Look at the trees, lakes, mountains, and the ocean. Our bodies reflect that - beautiful spirals and webs of muscles, facia, and bones.
Why is it that some movement practices focus so much on straight/rigid lines? Yoga should be fun, creative, and inspiring! It invites you to take part in your life—step in and explore!
- Yoga Flow for all levels - join us for some delicious movement and breath practice!
- Free yoga mats available (bring your own if you want to)
- Wear loose and comfortable clothing for movement.
Duration: 75 mins
About Jeison (He / Him)
Jeison grew up in Brazil, navigating the challenges of being a queer kid in a society where he often felt out of place. As he got older, those feelings of not belonging deepened, leaving him disconnected from his own body. Yoga became a transformative turning point in his life, offering a sense of grounding and self-discovery. Drawn to its potential for healing, Jeison sought a style that embraced diversity, but struggled to find one that truly resonated. This inspired him to train as a yoga teacher, to create a space where others who felt like him could connect, grow, and feel celebrated.
