This month's beneficiaries will be End Deportations. In March 2017 15 people blockaded a deportation charter flight at Stansted airport. In December 2018 they were prosecuted and found guilty under the 1990 Aviation and Maritime Security Act, a law passed in response to the Lockerbie bombing in 1988. In February they will face sentencing for endangering the safety of the airport, an offence that carries a maximum of life imprisonment.
