Step back in time over 120 years and visit Leeds at the turn of the century with a time travelling resident!
Visit the city in a time when commuters moved by tram, cobbled streets were brushed with trailing skirts and a pint was 3 pence. Join our promenade into Leeds’ radical past, led by a young resident of 1900 played by an experienced actor and historian. This is a unique experience that shouldn’t be missed!
We will start at City Square before moving on to Park Row, Lands Lane, The Headrow Briggate and Boar Lane. This journey will take approximately an hour and end at Leeds Minster. Both local and national history will be covered.
Accessibility
The route will be step free on public footpaths and public land. Presently this performance is without audio amplification (we're looking at this!). We advise all audience members to check the Pedestrian Code of Conduct before attending. Duration is expected for about 60 minutes depending on group size and walking pace.
