The evening will feature exclusive performances by artists from STÙRM, showcasing original poetry and music from the forthcoming EP. The event also offers an exciting Open Mic—arrive early to sign up and share your voice alongside celebrated performers.

Lalah-Simone Springer is a poet and speculative fiction writer (she/they). Lalah’s first poetry collection, An Aviary of Common Birds was published by Broken Sleep Books in August 2023 .Lalah’s writing considers themes of mental health, alienation, love and growth from a queer, Black, working class, feminist perspective. Lalah was long-listed for the Merky New Writers Prize in 2021 and has been published on the ANTHEMS podcast, Ink, Sweat & Tears, Onyx Magazine and more.
