PESTS: The Ugly Bugs Peepshow is presented by QUEER NATURES, an interdisciplinary art and academic research project led by Dr Ina Linge at the University of Exeter. QUEER NATURES explores ideas of desirability, queerness, literature and LGBTQ+ history and activism through collaborations with artists across disciplines. Siân Docksey is an artist in residence on the project, bringing together her practice as a pole dance artist, comedian and creative producer to get these concepts in a sexy bug costume and on a stick.
Seating is limited so make sure to reserve your space so you're on the list! Audience will be seated on the studio floor, if you have any concerns about mobility that would make this difficult let us know in advance so we can save you a space on a sofa or chair.
Accessibility info: the studio is up three flights of stairs, with a lift in the building for. Entry to the studio has a small step which may obstruct wheelchair users - let us know in advance if you have concerns or would like to request assistance with entering the space.
