for Queer Migrants and Queer People of Colour
Summer is here. Boots are on. Back by popular demand for 2025, it's our Hiking Group for QPoC and queer migrants! And to kick off the season, we're taking on some old favourites alongside some brand new trails!
Throughout the summer, we'll be taking on a series of small-group hikes, led by our resident mountain leader-trainee, through some of the most picturesque areas of the South and South East of the country. If you've never gone hiking before and want to give it a try with some likeminded people in a small group, this is your chance!
We'll be releasing spaces for each hike around three weeks in advance, and we're able to reimburse attendees £10 each to help with the cost of train tickets!
🥾 Our Next Hike 🥾
For June, we'll be taking on the highest point in the South Downs!
🗓 Sunday 22nd June: Marley Common and Black Down, a 9 mile circular walk through beautiful countryside and mixed woodland, climaxing with a hike up Black Down, the highest point in the South Downs National Park. This is a little easier going than Devil's Dyke, but still a moderate challenge with some great views.
🕒 Time: 10am - 6pm
🚆 How It Works 🚆
Once you sign up, we'll send you the details or where we'll meet, what time, and what to bring with you. We'll also send you information on exactly which train ticket/s to purchase, so that we're able to travel together. After the hike, we'll re-imburse everyone at least £10 against the cost of their journey. However, it is up to you to purchase the correct train ticket in advance.
