Join us this Sunday for a screening of the new film “To Kill a War Machine”: the Palestine Action film by Rainbow Collective that the British government doesn’t want you to see before they try to shut Palestine Action down next week.
When: Sunday 29th June, 7-9:30pm
Where: Advocacy Academy, Brixton, SW9 7QR
This film shows the vulnerability of the manufacturers of the instruments of genocide here in Britain, and the resilience of the resistance of our community members. We learn what drove ordinary people like us to take direct action, see more intimately what it's like to be inside as they take a hammer to these weapons, how the state has escalated its attempts to stop them, and the wins and gains it's brought our movement.
This pride season let’s celebrate the true spirit of pride and affirm again and again: pride is Palestine Action, and we are all Palestine Action!
Access info: the Advocacy Academy is a wheelchair accessible location, with a few wheelchair accessible spots at the top of the screening area with fully step free level access. The bottom of the screening area (closest to the screen) can be accessed via a lift, however there is a narrow door and a single step to get from the lift to the bottom of the screening area. There will be a quiet space, and masks will be provided if you’d like one! Please let us know when booking your ticket if you have any access needs and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
