Join us for an evening of climate justice as we talk about a powerful and timely collection from Scientists for XR, a group of scientists who have chosen to step out of the lab and onto the streets in defence of our planet.
Ask questions and hear the personal stories of scientists from across disciplines — biologists, physicists, mathematicians, ecologists and more — as they share what led them to work with Extinction Rebellion. From quiet moments of reckoning to bold acts of non-violent direct action, we will explore the urgent realities of the climate and ecological crisis, as well as the deeply human motivations behind their activism.
These are human stories. Whether sparked by a childhood memory, a moment in the classroom, or a walk through a vanishing landscape, these reflections invite us to feel the weight of the crisis — and the necessity of collective action.
