We are made of water, landscape is shaped by it, we are held in it, water is life.
Water reminds us of our fluidity.
Together, we’ll tune into our relationship with water—through simple somatic practices, movement in nature, art-making and ritual. We'll listen deeply to the language of water in the unique surroundings of Greenwich Ecology Park, guided by the rhythms of tide, reed and rain.
We’ll spend time with the reeds—those threshold plants that grow where earth meets water—learning how to weave small vessels from their stalks. These vessels will be offered to the Thames in a closing ritual, a gentle act of letting go and honouring water’s power to carry, dissolve and renew.
This is a space to slow down, connect with your body and the land, and be held by queer community and the wisdom of water.
All materials provided.
No experience necessary—just bring an open heart and comfortable clothes for moving outdoors.
