If we have time we’ll also go over the other dances we’ve learnt (Chicago Stomp (Texas Hold ‘Em), Bar Song, Outlaw (Abracadabra), Boots On The Ground) 🤠
The first two sessions will get you up to speed before the next main STRUT night in mid-September & will then continue with one session the week after each STRUT 📅
POLICY:
STRUT QUEER LINE DANCING and COVEN are spaces which prioritise the safety, comfort, community and joy of LGBTQIA+ people. There is a zero tolerance policy for any forms of homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, bigotry, harassment and violence.
ACCESSIBILITY:
The venue is above FABWICK, accessed via a set of metal stairs and is unfortunately not currently wheelchair accessible.
Line dancing involves footwork such as stepping from foot to foot in different directions, stamping, kicking, and winding steps like the grapevine, as well as twisting, turning and spinning.
There is a covered outdoor terrace with picnic benches and plenty of seating inside the venue at the back of the dance floor.
