This drag fundraiser aims to raise money for a trans person in the local community to help pay for gender affirming healthcare. The political climate towards transgender people in the UK is only getting worse currently. And uncertainty around public NHS funded transgender healthcare is growing, therefore private healthcare is the only current safety blanket for many transgender people, to guarantee ongoing medical care.
