Join a workshop with Doris Uhlich and Boris Kopeinig exploring movement, dance and sound.
We will engage in an archaeology of energy and explore forms of energetic release. Each body has different possibilities to shape individual energy. The method developed by Doris Uhlich is called "Energetic Icons" and allows for more and more individual and collective energetic dance forms. What movements are like batteries, that charge the body?
We move into a dance, in which the energy of a movement is more important than its form and where we can experience the transmission of energy in various ways and constellations. Boris Kopeinig will be live DJ in the workshop. His DJ sets are driven by technoid rhythms and synthetic frequencies, exploring zones of sound experimentation and dance floor celebration. Sound does not only reach the ears, but also enters the body which starts to grasp sound in all its components as well as experience sound in its entirety.
This workshop is open to performers, artists, dancers, movers and makers. We aim for workshops to be accessible for all physicalities.
