Join us for a relaxed evening of creativity, connection, and community in Tooting!
Tired of trekking across London for queer events? We've got you covered south of the river with our monthly SWQ meetup. Think of us as the "more houseplants than jagerbombs" crowd – caring, friendly folks who prioritise genuine connections over loud scenes.
For October's meetup we have a SPECIAL EDITION – a cozy drink and doodle session where you can chat, create, and connect in the most delightfully low-pressure way possible.
What to expect: Grab a drink, some pens and paper, and let your creativity flow! Whether you're sketching masterpieces, playing noughts and crosses with new friends, or just doodling while you chat, this is the perfect antidote to awkward small talk - no artisitic skill required.
- Inclusive, FLINTA+ focused – designed specifically for lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans*+ community. Allies absolutely welcome providing inclusivity and safety remains a priority.
- Genuinely welcoming – a safe space designed for meeting mates or dates, naturally and without the huge price tag!
- Accessible venue – The Graveney and Meadow in Tooting has disabled access and a disabled toilet. Its a short distance from Tooting Broadway tube or Tooting mainline + easily accessible via many bus routes.
- Community first – pay what you can tickets (suggested £5) to cover materials, with proceeds supporting charity: Trans Kids Deserve Better
Perfect for anyone wanting to meet like-minded queer people without the pressure of traditional social events. Come as you are, doodle how you want, and leave with new connections.

Tickets: Pay what you can (recommended £5) – not for profit, community-focused event, with proceeds going to charity.
Please note this is a ticketed event. You must have a ticket to attend. Tickets will be checked on arrival.
