Love discovering new music but hate streaming platforms ? Want to DJ but don’t know where to download music? Searching for a new genre but don’t know where to look? Pull Up Trax is your answer.
Pull Up Trax is a chance for budding music lovers and DJs to meet up and make the sharing, discovering, and organising side of music more fun and sociable.
Each session we’ll introduce a topic/label/scene/genre for you to dive into before moving onto some games to facilitate sharing music with each other. The last part of the session will be more open and independent – you can either dig for more music with someone from the social or organise your own tunes. (DJs can also use this as a chance to ask questions and learn about sorting music on rekordbox.)
Headphones/Earphones are essential for the session. Laptops are recommended to make the most of the event but, if you don’t have one, a smartphone or tablet will be fine. You might be able to share a laptop with someone anyway. Pull Up is a DJ community but this event is open to all music lovers.
