Landsec plans to redevelop Lewisham Shopping Centre.
They want to build 1,719 homes but only 103 will be for social rent, even though 10,000+ families are on the waiting list. Most homes will be expensive private rentals, pushing up prices and driving gentrification.
Lewisham Council’s own policy is 50% affordable housing - this development falls well below!
