A 6-month working group for queer and trans people reclaiming space through embodied unlearning, shared practice, and subtle disruption.
This event serves as a sign-up to a core working group for entire 6 month program.
If you wish to attend individual sessions, please sign up to individual events released a month in advance.
We live within spatial systems that weren't made for us. Architecture, design, planning—even at their most "inclusive"—often reproduce norms that constrain queer and trans life.
Minor Acts begins with a refusal of those systems' authority. Instead, we explore alternative spatial practices rooted in collaboration, small gestures, and queer material experience.
This is not a course. There are no teachers. We're building a temporary infrastructure for queer study and spatial resistance, shaped by those who show up. Free and low cost.
Who Is This For
Queer and trans people who work with or care about space—architects, artists, gardeners, organisers, writers, designers, dreamers. Those navigating cracks between disciplines or seeking creative, subversive approaches to the built environment.
