Queerscapes is a platform and community for queer and trans spatial practitioners—people who work with space in all forms, including architecture, design, urbanism, horticulture, construction, and art. We explore the intersection of spatial practice and queer & trans lived experiences with a focus on community, experimentation and mutual-aid and care.
We host a mix of participatory in person events - Queer Archi* Social, where spatial practitioners connect and share their experience and ideas. Peer-to-peer workshops around placemaking and queer design methods.Creative workshops where we use mapping, collaging, zine-making and other methods to imagine alternative futures of queer & trans space.
