Queer Sufi Poetry Workshop
Join us to explore our queer identities through Sufi poetry, and explore the Sufi ethos of love in relation to queerness! This workshop is especially suited to Muslim and BPOC queer and trans folk, and anyone who utilises poetry in healing their relationship with queerness. We will read and reflect on a selection of Sufi poems and poetry by queer Muslim authors, and take some time to write in response to prompts and themes.
About the facilitator: Sufiyan (he/they) is a Kashmiri working class organiser and writer. Working within communities, Sufiyan's writing explores the intersections of race, class, gender and religion. Find him @a_boy0nline .
