Coming soon: the Locian Botanical Oracle Deck — written by Robyn L. Hallard, illustrated by Isobel Power Smith, with typography by Ariadne Winter. This is the first illustrated literary product from the artist team, a true labour of love. The deck pays homage to the Golden Age of Illustration, with writing inspired by botanical folklore told through a queer, anti-nationalist lens.

Join us on Friday 7th October 2025, 7pm for a launch evening that celebrates both the deck and the community around it. You can choose from two ticket options:

Launch Party Only (£5) — Come meet the makers, see the decks in person, and enjoy a drink in the space.
Workshop Ticket (£20) — Take part in a creative session alongside the party. You’ll be guided in creating your oracle card style art piece, collaged from drawings and gelli monoprints observed and printed from a botanical display, inspired by the same natural world that shaped the deck.

There will also be the chance to purchase the oracle deck and limited edition prints on the night.

This event is queer-friendly and inclusive — a space to gather, connect, and mark the arrival of a project rooted in storytelling, folklore, and beautiful illustration.
