O Som da Pele - A Touch of Sound

This documentary follows the journey of Irton Mário, known as Mestre Batman - a musician and educator who founded the group Os Batuqueiros do Silêncio (“The Drummers of Silence”). Formed by people with partial or total hearing loss, the group uses art as a means of integration and social inclusion.

The film revisits the story of Selmi Nascimento, a blind football player who became seven-time Brazilian champion and three-time world champion with the Instituto de Cegos da Bahia (ICB). He also won the Copa América representing the Brazilian National Team.
