Samhain with Sheffield Feminist Archive
This Samhain we're lifting the veil between past and present, and thinking about how the places we inhabit come to inhabit us. Please bring along one small item from home that you associate with a place - this only needs to be as meaningful as you'd like it to be, and can be as mundane as a token from a day out, or even a fork you use routinely. We'll use these objects to reflect on the spaces and places we've been, making mixed media representations with rubbings, tracings, carbon copies and the like (materials provided!), to explore the relationship between place, memory and self.
