Psst... you! yes you..!
It's 2025 AKA the new dark ages!
Had enough of these crrrrazy times too?!
Are you looking for something more?
Come and join us...the veil is thin
On Saturday 22nd November from 2-5pm, we'll be conjuring a dark and broody wander-wonder exploring the rich lore of the hagstone (flint stones with holes all the way through them) and their imaginative potentials...
We will gather at Mint House (The home of Sussex folklore) in Pevensey. Nestled in the heart of Sussex, this wobbly old 16th-century building will become our realm of ritual and possibility.
This will be a journey through the lore of hagstones, their uses, rituals and the relationship that the stones have with the land that shapes them. We'll be drawing on winters wisdom to draw our energy inwoods (!) looking to the trees for answers on how to be with the darkness and pay witness to the shadows...
Through a series of guided creative prompts, we'll invite you to pass through the hagstone's magical portal, explore its protective powers, reveal concealed worlds and drop the illusions of these bewitched times.
No art experience necessary, just an open heart and an experimental hat (expect drawing, talisman-making, listening, relaxing and reflecting)
All materials and refreshments are provided.
If you are coming by public transport there are trains from London Victoria and Hastings to ‘Pevensey and Westham’ station which is 14 mins walk from the Mint House.

Our workshops (wander|wonders as we like to call them!) are intended to be experimental, relaxing, deepening opportunities for people to gather in and are a great way to meet new people.
Our events are open to ALL and are a safe and inclusive space for all sexualities and genders. Please let us know if you have any access needs and we'll do our best to accommodate. If you would like to come but cannot afford a ticket please get in touch.
Come along to share, connect, create and play.
