Join us for a special free clothes shop at the Deptford Lounge. Browse and take home anything you like, and it's all completely free. We’re redistributing clothing from past swaps, to give clothes a new home and keep them in circulation.
We are local to the area, and Deptford is the birthplace of QueerSwap, so it only makes sense that we give back to the place that helped us get our start.
This isn’t a swap, and we won’t be taking clothing donations at this event. Our storage facilities are full.
We have a clothing swap on December 14 in Borough, if you would like to swap.
- This event is open to all members of the community, but is a queer-centred space. We ask that everyone be respectful of one another, and any issues be reported to the QueerSwap and Deptford Lounge team.
- If the free clothes shop area is too busy, you may be asked to wait elsewhere in the library/come back at a later time for safety/to prevent overcrowding.
Accessibility: The Deptford Lounge is step-free and wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets. Clothing will be hung on industrial rails, which will be about 1.65m high, and some items will be on normal height tables. Additional accessibility information to be added after our full access review.
