Join our friendly hosts at 5pm for 5.30 Speed Dating start, then once the ice is broken come to our after party at Katie's Bar.
Unlike “normal” speed dating, you'll be guided to our “topic areas”. We know that sometimes it can be hard to figure out what to say and most of us don't just want to talk about the boring stuff like work, so it's much more fun if we can talk about our favourite holiday destination, our first pet, polyamorous or definitely not, or other things that make you tick!
Las Iguanas also do amazing Mexican food, so if you fancy continiuning and getting to know you're new mates and dates a bit better, some of us will stay for food before heading to Katies to get to know each other, now the ice has broken!

Why Oban Lesbian+ Weekend Events?
- Unlike so much online dating or other speed dating companies, we do it all on the night, and we have an after party, so instead of disappearing and not being able to remember names the next day, this way you can meet new women f2f and we make it easy to create connections.
- We are celebrating 20 years since our first speed dating events, down in Brighton. 20 YEARS AS AN LGBTQ+ OWNED BUSINESS, 5 YEARS OF BRINGING WOMEN FROM ACROSS THE WORLD TO OBAN FOR OBAN LESBIAN+ WEEKEND…hopefully, we've learnt a thing or 2 on the way.

- Las Iguanas is a fully accessible venue. There are disabled parking spaces outside and a ground floor toilet.
- Las Iguanas is a great, city centre location. From Central and Queens St station, it is a 5 minute walk.
- We are also just a 7-8 minute walk from Merchant City, so ideal for us to toddle round the corner to Katies for our after party.
