A get-together to experience TNBI community in nature in a small gated nature reserve in Brighton's The Deneway. The session will start with an optional short tour of the site by The Sussex Wildlife Trust before sharing drinks, snacks and an optional food and fire based activity. A relaxed social space for our community facilitated by The Clare Project to enjoy nature at this beautiful time of year.
Please wear clothing and shoes suitable for the weather and for being around fire in a woodland environment. Seating (logs and camping chairs), food, hot drinks and the fire will be provided! There is an all-gender compost loo, a tarpaulin for shelter from rain, and hand-washing facilities at the site.
There is a maximum capacity of 15 people for this event so please book a free ticket in advance and let us know if you can no longer make it so that we can give your space to the next person on the waitlist.
Please note that while the site is step-free, wheelchair users may find the uneven surfaces difficult.

Public transport:
The 5/5A bus (Hangleton-Hove- Brighton-Patcham) or the 27 bus (Saltdean-Rottingdean-Brighton Station-7 Dials – Westdene) stop very close to the reserve.
Preston Park train station is a 20-minute walk from the entrance to the reserve.
It is also on a relatively flat cycle route.
