This 5 night retreat is a precious opportunity to deeply receive the medicine, the pleasure and the wisdom that comes from saying yes to rest.
Andy will share with you some beautiful tools and practices that will enable you to calm and regulate the nervous system, restoring your capacity to deeply relax and reconnect with safety and wellbeing.
The tools for radiant rest
- TRE® (tension trauma release exercises) - release deep-held tension patterns in the body by safely activating the tremor - the body’s innate and instinctive stress management mechanism
- Slow yoga; a Yin and restorative practice to nourish and relax
- Shiatsu; a form of massage bodywork renowned for being grounding and deeply calming and restorative
- Reiki; a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing, self-regulation and self-care.
- Rest; plenty of time and space to unfurl, unwind and rest deeply in cradle of the surrounding countryside.
Rest and rejuvenation can also come from community and connecting authentically with like-minded and friendly gay, bi and queer men and this retreat is designed to facilitate that level of connection.
Prices and accommodation
Casa Brisa is a contemporary and beautiful boutique guesthouse for gay men on the outskirts of a national park, 6km from Sitges near Barcelona and easily accessible from Barcelona airport. It's situated in the hills and nestled in a beautiful garden with big trees all around. It's truly peaceful and magical.
Prices include all costs: shared twin room/double accommodation, two delicious and hearty vegetarian meals a day and refreshments, fruit, hot drinks etc.

Andy has led many workshops and over 25 retreats across 10 years, regularly supporting events for Loving Men, Yoganu and Tantra for Gay Men. His expertise includes: Yin & Hatha Flow Yoga, Shiatsu, Tantra, TRE®, Meditation and Trauma Therapy and Coaching.

REIKI
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing, self-regulation and self-care.
Through reiki, we receive the lifeforce energy around us, the energy that flows through all living things, the energy from the sun and the cosmos, the oceans and the earth. This balances and strengthens our own lifeforce.
Our lifeforce is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It becomes disrupted by negative thoughts or feelings we hold about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way. Reiki is extremely helpful in working with Tantric Energy and supports the expansion and growth that comes with it.
THE ATTUNEMENT
The ability to channel Reiki energy is transferred to the student by a Reiki Master during an attunement process.
By receiving an attunement you will gain a valuable tool for self-healing and self-regulation and also become part of a group of people who are using Reiki to share peace, love and expand universal consciousness with others and the Planet. It is a beautiful, relaxing and deeply nurturing experience and I am delighted to be able to share it with you.
