It is a truth universally acknowledged that wines taste better from bigger bottles. There's all sorts of reasons for this, both physical and psychological, but it's all academic without an occasion that warrants opening one (or five). We're going to conduct a little investigation into this matter for ourselves with a bumper edition of QWC where all wines will be served from magnum. Expect some serious material on offer: champagne (of course), top-tier GG Riesling, iconic Châteauneuf…
Note for previous guests: things are bit different this time! Instead of the usual seated affair, we'll all be standing and milling about so we can fit in enough people to justify the big bottles. The good news is there are far more tickets than usual available, the price is a bit lower, and the setup should be a tad more social. I expect it'll be shorter given the number of wines, so worry not about your knees/back. See you there!

QWC is strictly not for profit. 100% of your ticket price goes towards the wine being tasted (and some snacks!). Our (gay) agenda is to ensure that there’s no better value way to taste properly excellent wine in London - to make the great wines of the world accessible and inclusive for the queer community.
Tastings are seated and include a selection of fine wines chosen on a loose theme, each accompanied with plenty of background and chat, with some light snacks (so do eat beforehand). The wines will be confirmed and bought within about 72 hours of the tasting, so strictly no refunds after this point.
