Workshop content:
A brief understanding of two iconic Hong Kong Style Bun - The pineapple bun and the cocktail bun. A short introduction of Hong Kong Style Milk Tea
Step-by-step guidance on drawing a simple tea set in watercolour, featuring a selected bun and a cup of tea.
The artist will prepare a simple set of watercolour ( Artist selected professional brands ), Colour brush and water colour paper.
Remarks:
Participants are invited to bring along their own beloved mug as the model to draw with.
Participants may bring along their own sketching tools , such as a sketchbook for draft, pencil, and their preferred watercolour brush according to personal preference.
Beginners are welcome.

About the facilitator:

Alison Hui is an illustrator, writer, and zine-maker with two published book titles Embrace the Uncertainties and Explore Hong Kong Taste. She also launched over ten self-published works, including All About Tofu, Meal for One and Cha Chaan Teng. Her illustrations and infographics have appeared in publications and exhibitions in Hong Kong, Japan, the US, and the UK. She explores the relationships between identity, cityscapes, and food.
