Yin Yoga + Meditation (Online)
This class is an invitation to slow down, release deeply, and reconnect with your body. Yin yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that supports both physical and emotional unwinding through stillness and time.
We move into simple, floor-based shapes and remain there for longer periods, allowing the body to soften gradually and the mind to settle. The emphasis is not on achieving a pose, but on listening inwards, noticing sensation, breath, and what’s present beneath the surface.
What to expect:
- Long, passive holds that encourage deep release
- Simple shapes with plenty of time to settle and observe
- Breath awareness and mindful stillness
- Space to explore both physical and emotional layers of practice
- Gentle invitational guidance
You don’t need fancy equipment to enjoy Yin yoga online. A few simple props can make a big difference:
- Yoga mat
- Blanket or towel
- One or two blocks (or firm books)
- A bolster or pillow
Props help support your body so you can relax more fully into each pose.
Each class will have around an hour of yin yoga poses, a 10 minute shavasana relaxation, followed by an accessible 20 minute mindfulness meditation.
