Queer Frequencies: Community Collaging Workshop
Take an afternoon to make, reflect, and connect at a relaxed, participatory collaging workshop facilitated by Bold Mellon Collective. We’ll be exploring Queer Ancestry & Personal Mythologies — the people and relationships who’ve inspired us, supported us, or shaped our sense of self. A very special Valentine's celebration!
Through prompts, discussion, and playful experimentation with materials, the workshop offers space to reflect on interpersonal queer histories, share memories and immerse yourself in the simple pleasure of art making.
At the end of the session, you can take your artwork home, or it can be included in the Queer Frequencies Exhibition at Stanley Arts (February 15th - February 27th), sharing your piece as part of the collective display.
Bold Mellon will provide art materials and light refreshments.
If travel costs are a barrier, please email us — we’re able to offer support for travel within London.
This workshop draws on previous Bold Mellon Collective projects, including A Collective Archive (Ugly Duck), Up To No Good (Rich Mix), and IS IT OK? (Stanley Arts), continuing a commitment to collaborative, care-focused practice.
This event is funded by Croydon Council.
