Back again at Burrito Buoy for the third edition of Lost Signal Cinema Club: a screening of Dario Argento's TENEBRAE, with special introduction by Dr. Alice Haylett Bryan.
An American novelist's visit to Rome turns bloody as an obsessed fan with a razor-blade commits a string of gruesome murders.
Following a brief stint with the supernatural horror of Suspiria and Inferno, Dario Argento made a return to the giallo genre in Tenebrae, creating what many consider to be one of his best works.
Originally a “video nasty” and banned in the UK until 1999, Lost Signal will be presenting Tenebrae in all its full, uncut glory. You do not want to miss out on this classic by the master of Italian horror!
Runtime: 101 mins. Cert: 18.
Dr. Alice Haylett Bryan (she/her) is a Lecturer in Film History at Queen Mary University of London, specialising in Horror and extreme cinema.
