Learn to werk a runway, strut, dance and pose!
Join Ghetto Fabulous and Andro & Eve for some fabulous queer dance workshops for all abilities. For ages 18+.
Through the exploration of queer movement you will learn to catwalk, take up space and pose. These workshops are designed to introduce you to different queer dance styles and are aimed at both those new to dance, and people with some experience. Movement can be adapted for different physical abilities.
For those who attend, there is the opportunity to join further FREE workshops in April and May to take to the runway at Andro & Eve’s Reyt Queer Extravaganza - a queer live performance event on 8 May.
We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing, (trousers) and trainers or flat shoes.
Footwear: Heels or boots are not appropriate footwear for the dance studio we are using for these sessions.
Access: This event is held in a city centre venue with step free access (via a side door). Gender neutral and accessible toilet available. Masking is welcome, and we clean the air using a HEPA filter. Specific COVID guidance is below.

If you’d like to make a donation to support the work of Andro and Eve, add a ‘donation’ to your booking. All donations help us provide free and cheaper tickets to those who need them at future events. We give free tickets to refugees for all our events through our partners.
We take precautions to manage the risk of COVID-19
We welcome the wearing of masks if that feels comfortable for you. We limit capacity to manage air quality and will make use of a HEPA air filter. Hand sanitiser is provided. We will enable a waiting list for this event in order that spare tickets can be released for those self isolating.
We would ask that you help us care for our community by not attending if you have any cold, flu or Covid symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.
Refunds are only available for those who are unwell. If you are sick, please request a refund to enable someone else to take your place. We have a waiting list enabled for this event.
