Who is NAALAS HOUSE??
Naala’s House CIC is a non-profit organization dedicated to combating homelessness and poverty, particularly in areas with limited government support. We offer essential services such as donated clothing, upcycled furniture, free haircuts, and food to individuals and families with low or no income.
Our mission is to improve lives while protecting the environment by reducing waste and diverting clothing and furniture from landfills. Additionally, we run creative events, practical skills workshops, and arts-based programs, and we’re always open to collaborations and new ideas to create sustainable resources for our community.
Our Values:
- Promote Sustainability by recycling, upcycling, and reusing materials, clothing, and furniture.
- Support the Community by providing dignity through essential domestic services while restoring the true spirit of charity by helping those in need.
- Empower Self-Expression for individuals on low incomes by allowing them to choose their own clothing, hairstyles, and home décor.
- Provide Access to Food for those who cannot afford basic necessities.
- Give Opportunities for individuals to gain qualifications and the skills needed to rejoin society.

Join us for LOUD NATION, a vibrant series of performing arts showcases running from 28th Febuary every last saturday of the month! Hosted by Naala’s House CIC, this event celebrates emerging talent, creativity, and the power of community through music, dance, spoken word, ats workshops, yoga and more.

- Workshops: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Showtime: 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM
- Party, networking & vibes: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

FREE FOR PERFORMERS... Are you ready to showcase your talent? Sign up now via our Linktree. We welcome performers of all disciplines, from music and dance to comedy, poetry, and beyond. Each event will have a specific theme, so get ready to bring your creativity to life! Please note that performers must sign up a month in advance (email if over a month for last minute spaces) and submit any samples or guidelines required for your theme.

✨ Sustainable Fashion Alterations: A talented seamstress will be on hand to alter and repair clothing, helping those of us who want to limit waste and breathe new life into the old and broken.
🎨 Pre-Event Workshops: Join us for creative workshops before each event, where you can express your creativity and learn new skills.
💅 Nail Art Magic: A nail tech will be there to jazz up your hands, adding a touch of glamour and fun to your evening.
🍹 Themed Drinks at the Bar: Sip on exclusive themed cocktails and drinks on the night, perfectly paired with the vibe of each event!
🌌 Unlocking Your Senses: Be prepared for an otherworldly yet grounding experience, each event will awaken your senses and offer something truly transformative.
👚 Clothes Swap & Donations: Bring your unwanted clothing and join our clothes swap, where you can give back to the community and rehome items you no longer need. Donations are welcome, as we’re committed to helping those in need and reducing waste. You may drop off items ahead of the event or bring them the night of!

Parking & Transportation:
There is parking available nearby, with both street parking and a few spaces near the venue. The venue is also easily accessible by public transport, with a 3min walk from Sydenham station (Overground) just a short walk away. We encourage using public transport for convenience, but there are parking spaces nearby for those who choose to drive.
