🎧 2-4pm DJ Grace Atlee will play relaxed music whilst we draw.
🎧 4-6pm DJ Amy Zing will play girl power classics while we draw and/or boogie
The bar will be open during both events (also serving teas and great soft drinks) & there’ll be arts supplies aplenty or bring any crafts you’re working on 🎨 PLUS you’re welcome to order pizza from Casa and they’ll bring it over 🍕🎉
Whatever is made on the door will be split equally for all artists involved. If you buy a tea or a drink hopefully that will cover tech. Arts funding is so hard to get and festivals and venues are closing everywhere. Please appreciate and support your local art scene out here still trying to keep it going! 💪
It’s drop in, it’s nothing hectic. It’s about being together in community despite how upside down the world feels, and saying happy international women’s day. There is hope. We ALL deserve celebration and lightness.
Obviously men are welcome, and I shout this loudly for all to hear: trans women are women. Non binary folks can celebrate IWD, obvs. It’s a day for all. Bring your sisters, mummas, aunties, grandmas, nieces, daughters, enbys and lovely male allies!
Team MAC are proud to welcome in some bad ass women this international women’s day weekend and hope you can come and enjoy the vibes.
