An evening of poetry and music to celebrate the launch of Andro & Eve's new zine, We Contain Multitudes.
Featuring live performances from poet and writer Maz Hedgehog, songwriter and musician Maddie Morris and writer and playwright Tommi Bryson. With BSL for all performances.
Artist Kit George will be facilitating a creative making activity, inspired by themes from the zine.
We Contain Multitudes zine is a creative celebration of trans and non-binary lives and imaginations, designed by artist Sam Selley. Inside you’ll find creative artwork and writing from trans and non binary people across South Yorkshire, alongside a newly commissioned poem by Maz Hedgehog, and an introduction by Tommi Bryson and Maddie Morris.
Each ticket holder will be given a copy of the zine. This event is for 18+ but those 15+ can attend if accompanied by an adult. This event is open to all, but we would ask folks who are not LGBTQ+ to add a donation to the cost of their ticket to support our work.
A bar serving alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks will be available throughout.
Tickets: £10 + fees
Sliding scale tickets from £3. Order limits apply.
Our sliding scale pricing is designed to help make our events accessible to everyone. Please see the guide below and select the right ticket band for your financial situation. Find out more about our ticket model here.
You can donate to support the work of Andro and Eve by purchasing a 'SOLIDARITY TICKET' if you have the financial means to do so. Andro and Eve are a queer arts organisation based in South Yorkshire. They create memorable events to celebrate queer culture where everyone is welcome. Their programming is focused on voices otherwise marginalised, to reflect and celebrate the diversity that exists within the LGBTQ+ community.
We Contain Multitudes zine developed from Andro and Eve’s project for trans and non binary people in South Yorkshire through which a series of creative writing and arts workshops were delivered with trans and non binary people in Sheffield and Doncaster in autumn and winter 2025. Find out more about the project via the Andro and Eve website.
