Following the success of the last Spring collaging workshop, this month will continue the practise of Collage and Mixed-Media Art Making…

And the theme is …. Blossom 🌷🌱🌞✨

(Think blossoms, blooming flowers, wildlife, growth, new life, landscapes, natural and pastel colours). All materials will be provided but feel free to bring any magazines; coloured paper; photos; postcards or crafts materials you’d like to use!

I will be demonstrating how to create “Blossom” inspired Collages using scrap paper, nature books, magazines! (As always, it is a non-compulsory theme - everyone is welcome to experiment with the theme or follow their own ideas for their collaging pieces).

For anyone new to Club Bananas and wondering what it’s all about…

Club Bananas is an exciting new art club focused on craft-making and creating collage artworks and mixed media pieces. The club highlights the use of recycled items and scrap materials to bring new pieces to life. (Led by local artist, Banana Holdwin).
An inclusive space for fellow creatives to create care-free artwork, without the stiffness of classical art classes. Experimental and low-pressure with a focus on having fun and enjoying the process. A chance to let your inner child be free and be messy! As well as an opportunity to meet and chat with other artistic individuals.
Each month will have a different theme, but mixed media will be a constant thread and there will always be space for attendees to bring their own work or choose where they want to take the practise.
All materials are provided but you’re welcome to bring your own; art supplies, books, magazines, postcards, stickers etc!)
We meet every third Sunday of the month at Set Social, Peckham - 3-5pm

A word of thanks (as always) to Set Social for providing the space and allowing these classes to go ahead - I’m very grateful to have a peaceful environment to meet lovely people and create wonderful artwork together!
