For the finale of our month on masculinity, we invite you to dance on the edge of a knife with us.
You'll notice scalpels and tattooed switchblades, lover's spit and pounds of flesh sprinkled near your feet, follow the trail all the way to Dalston Superstore and down the stairs where you'll find a seat to greet you and six short films served in two halves.
Early documents of transmasculinity will bleed into contemporary narratives by and about trans men; loving, f/cki/ng and going astray.
Then after a brief window of leg-stretching and drink snatching, we'll invite you to step back through the screen and out into the night to huddle down the pub, wander into the club and discover what friction hangs heavy when those opposing masculine ideals mingle with men enamoured with their own cages.
