What You Need To Know !
this is our Scrapbooking Workshop - a cosy and casual corner to make messy art. the offer is to bring a notebook with you if you have one, but we’ll have some to hand as well as an abundance of scraps, Good Bits, stickers, tapes, and resources of all kinds for you to tear up, stick in, and cobble together as you please. whether it’s a scrapbook, collage, zine, or just to hang out and have a chat, we'll be there to guide you through the making process with exclusive MQ art available to repurpose and make something new with. we'll provide scissors and glue sticks etc - but you're welcome to bring your own, and any of your own bits and pieces to scrap with too
whether you consider yourself “good at art” or not, this space is open to all levels and focused for trans+ and queer folks to come together and Make. allies welcome - just be aware of where you are x
(it’s a gay bar… fyi)
Dalston Superstore are hosting this month's ScrapShop - which means we'll also have some gorgeous Superstore posters and flyers to tear up too!! ( please note if you arrive after 7pm you may be asked for ID on the door )
Find us at the front of the venue from 5pm - 8pm, you're welcome to drop in any time, stay for a bit or stay for all of it, it's completely up to you

there is a small step up to the entrance - a ramp is available on request. there is level-access to a toilet which does NOT have space for a wheelchair. more toilets are available down a narrow spiral staircase.
we will NOT be in the venue at the same time as any DJs, so whilst there will be music, it will not be as loud as a club night at Superstore would be otherwise. Music will get louder from 9pm (after the workshop has finished)
there will be coloured roaming lights throughout the venue
if anything is bothering you once you arrive at the venue (lights, music volume, etc) - let us know and we can change it !
this is not an exclusive event, so the bar will have regular customers in the rest of the space, and alcohol will be being served
