LGBT+ Book Swap & Social
Join us for a Queer Book Swap and Social! Bring up to 5 pre-loved books to swap, and enjoy mixing and mingling with other bookish queers in this cozy, inclusive space. The books do not have to be specifically queer, but if they are, even better!
How Does It Work?
When you arrive you will drop the books you have brought to swap in the swap zone. You are free to “shop” for the books that others have brought. Please only take as many as you brought. Since these events are run with minimal volunteer power, we operate on the honour system.
Any items remaining at the end of the swap may be kept for the next event, or donated. Please bring books that other people would enjoy. The general rule of swapping is to bring the kind of quality items you would like to bring home with you! Most people do not want outdated textbooks, books that are missing pages, have heavy water damage, etc.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink into the space (no nuts or shellfish, please).
QueerSwap is a non-profit community interest company. This event is pay-what-you-can, and all contributions go towards cost of running the studio.
