A communal grief space for holding with many hands the loss of our friends, ancestors, family, relationships, body minds and sanity.
Sharing circle for our thoughts prayers & stories
Communal altar, bring your photos, objects & offerings if you please ( be wary we are in a space open to the public if you're bringing special items )
Expressions of sadness are welcomed at all times during the space, no smiles are required.
Cis people are welcome to this space, but it is a specific safe space centering trans people
Access information
The People's letters is wheelchair accessible and has one accessible bathroom. We will be in the back room. The nearest station with step free access is Whitechapel.
It's expected for everyone to covid test before the event and mask during (ffp2 or higher) if you can.
!! Do not come if you are infectiously sick !!
It is safe to be non-verbal, mad and shy in this space, if you communicate with communication cards or a different method you are welcome!!
If you want to attend and not share, you are welcome.
If you have things to share but don't want to speak, you can approach the organiser to read for you.
