About Pride Pole Jam 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Founded in June 2025 by Bubblegum - a wee sapphic dancer based in Edinburgh - Pride Pole Jam is a community space that aims to provide a supportive, celebratory and judgement free space for pole dancers and artists who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Our first jam was held on the 56th anniversary of stonewall. That message is still very relevant today, our community is still continuously having to fight for our rights. Pride pole jam hopes, with what feels like uncertain times, coming together to dance will help bring some sense of unity, joy, pride, however that may feel for you

What is a Pole Jam?
A pole jam is a space for pole dancers to come together meet one another, dance, try your favourite pole tricks, take photos/videos and socialise with other likeminded people.
Pride Pole Jam is for pole dancers who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community. We want to provide a safe welcoming space to hang out and be your authentic self and have fun together doing pole!

This jam is for all abilities and welcomes all styles of movement, however this isn't an instructor led class. You must have completed some pole classes before attending.

During the jam we will give participants the opportunity to perform. This is a low pressure relaxed environment for people to share, whether that be 20seconds, a whole song, or a short combo you’ve been working on. All are welcome to perform but there is no pressure and totally optional.

Included in the price of your ticket is the option for photos and videos from our professional photographer Mel! @mvw.lens

As a special treat this jam we also have the fabulous @__fine_chyna__ participating with their new venture of Cinematic dance film @lucidmotion__

The studio is situated at Morris Park, enterprise park, there are no steps into the studio. Plus lots of available parking on site. There are female and male toilets in the same building as the studio, plus shower rooms. The accessible and inclusive toilet is situated in the building next door, a few steps across the car park. There is a small waiting area inside the studio you can relax in and a separate cafe in the neighbour building called Cloud cafe.

Age restriction: 18+

By purchasing a ticket you confirm that you will be 18years of age or older on the date of the event.
By purchasing a ticket you confirm that you have attended some classes or received some instruction for the relevant discipline before attending the event.
By purchasing a ticket you confirm your understanding that this not a taught event
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be filmed and photographed by the organiser or a member of their team at the event.
Any media obtained during the event by the organiser may be used on the Pride Pole Jam account and in advertising future events
You can opt out from being filmed and photographed at any time – please email pridepolejam@gmail.com to opt out in writing
Tickets are nonrefundable, however if you can no longer attend, you can sell your ticket to another person. Tickets must not be sold for profit.
By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing that you are of sound mind and physical ability to be participating in the event
I understand that I take part entirely at my own risk, and it is my responsibility to inform the organiser directly of any medical concerns, special requirements and medications that may be required.
By participating in the event, you understand that pole dancing, pole fitness and aerial activities can be a strenuous, challenging and physically demanding form of exercise.
By participating in the event, you understand that the movements and techniques involve skin contact with the apparatus, and related bumps and bruises can and may occur.
By participating you waive and release any and all claims whether for personal injury, property damage, damages, losses and/or death that may arise from my participation in/on/after the event.
I accept, assume and undertake the risks, and agree to using my best judgement and to abide by all safety instructions and recommendations, whether oral or written.
I understand that is my responsibility to check and test the apparatus at the start and throughout the event.
